We were invited by EIT Climate KIC, a European public initiative under the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), to optimize and implement functional changes and graphical adjustments for the websites of their four branches in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) - Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Hungary.
EIT Climate-KIC is a key player in the fight against global warming. It identifies and supports innovations that help society to mitigate, adapt to and actively influence climate change. As an organization under the auspices of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, EIT Climate-KIC benefits from the support of the EU to achieve its ambitious environmental goals.

Scope of work
Our task was to comprehensively develop the structure and functionality of the websites of the EIT Climate-KIC branches in Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Hungary.
We analyzed the functionality of the websites based on user needs in the individual markets. The results allowed us to make changes to make communication with users more efficient.

We focused on shortening the paths to the most important information and their dependencies as well as on intuitive navigation.
The next step was to adapt the global graphic design of EIT Climate-KIC to the local needs and the new functional layout. Each of the four branches received a personalized version of the website that matched the global image of the organization. We increased the recognition value and attractiveness of the websites, resulting in higher user activity.
During the work, we made the necessary programming changes to improve performance and ensure the best user experience.
Thanks to these changes, the websites have become an important tool for communicating and promoting EIT Climate-KIC's activities in the CEE region. We're delighted to be working with such a prestigious organization and to have been able to make even a small contribution to their mission in the fight against climate change.
